Estimated time for orders is approximately 40 - 50 minutes. However, please note that on busy days such as Fridays and Saturdays it could be between 1 hour - 1.5 hours. Each order can differ depending on how it is on the day and the availability of drivers.

Restaurant Manager - full time

Salary: £29,000 per annum (paid monthly)

Other duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to these tasks only):

• Solving customer queries and complaints in a reasonable and timely manner
• Monitor supplies and order further supplies as and when required
• Monitor supplier expenditures to ensure budget in line with this
• Checking deliveries match orders and raising any discrepancies with supplier contacts
• Responsible for cash management, daily takings recorded and discrepancies analysed and resolved
• Preparing staff rotas for shifts
• Updating daily cleaning and temperature rotas by maintaining daily cleaning of the premises in accordance to food hygiene standards and safety regulations
• Ordering menus for distribution when stock levels are low
• Updating social media sites on a regular basis to engage with customers

Skills and qualifications:

• Good communication skills: English speaking - at a good level to be able to communicate and interact with staff and customers
• Experience with managing people - need to manage a team of up to 4 people in the kitchen
• Experience in the Catering sector
• Desirable - to be familiar with the Bangladeshi heritage and language
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure, especially Fridays and Saturdays
• A confident and friendly personality as customer service skills is essential for this role
• Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
